Agroaceite invited 50 people to participate in the XII Forum of Social Responsibility called: “Transforming is a process of commitment” carried out in the Quetzaltenango department.

Agroaceite has allied with the National Literacy Committee -CONALFA- to implement a literacy program with operational workers to strengthen their academic level in reading and writing, and to improve their opportunities for work and personal growth.
The inauguration act for the 2019 cycle was held in one of the company’s farms located in Genova, Quetzaltenango.
136 Agroaceite workers will participate in the Literacy Program. The company, in partnership with CONALFA, provided a kit with supplies for each worker.
Agroaceite School students were recognized among the top three places at the regional level for having exceeded the reading standard established by the Ministry of Education. The jury evaluated expression, accuracy, and speed of reading during the fourth reading contest in the municipalities of the Southwestern Zone of Guatemala.
Fifteen rural and public schools participated, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education. The first three places of each of the degrees were awarded regionally.
AgroAceite, in partnership with the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction -CONRED- and the Association of the Southwest Trifinio -ASODITSO-, carried out the renewal of accreditations to 72 people from 10 communities of Quetzaltenango, San Marcos, and Retalhuleu; as official members of Local Coordinators for Disaster Reduction.
Sergio Cabañas, Executive Secretary of CONRED, presented the accreditations to 72 leaders and workers of the company as official members of Local Coordinators for Disaster Reduction.
The renewal of accreditations was for the communities of San Luis, Santa Fe, Los Encuentros, La Blanquita, Valle Lirio, Chiquirines, Morenas, Salinas I and II, and Colonia Barillas.
